CULT OF ORPIST

CULT OF ORPIST was formed in early 2021 by Chris Panagitsas and Hector Sohos with a common aim to play a mix of 90s Death/Thrash, following the likes of SLAYER, ENTOMBED, SODOM, KREATOR, TOXIC HOLOCAUST, and many more. After some tryouts for the drum duties, Sotiris Dimitropoulos entered the band as the perfect fit and they started rehearsing and writing their own music. By the end of 2021, the lineup was complete with the arrival of George “Dimator” Dimitrakakis as Lead Guitarist, and CULT OF ORPIST started working on their debut, self-titled EP.

CULT OF ORPIST recorded their debut EP from February to May 2022 at Locomotive Sound Studios, in Lamia – Greece. Locomotive Sound Studios engineered, mixed, and mastered the band’s debut EP. The “CULT OF ORPIST” EP features artwork from Mörtuus-Art.
