Theogonia Records is proud to announce the signing of one of Greece's most legendary and revered forces in black metal, LLOTH. Hailing from the rich, myth-laden soil of Hellenic metal, LLOTH's legacy is deeply etched into the black/death metal pantheon. Their upcoming second full-length album, "Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions)", will be released under the burning banner of Theogonia Records, summoning a new epoch of ferocity, grandeur, and reverence to the ancient spirit of black metal.

Founded in 1995 by the late and iconic Tristessa—a trailblazer in the Greek metal scene and founder of Astarte (the first ever all-female black metal band)—LLOTH rose as a beacon of unholy darkness and unyielding artistry. After transitioning into Astarte, LLOTH lay dormant for years, only to rise once more in 2013. Following Tristessa’s tragic passing, the remaining members, led by her husband Nicolas Maiis (Melanomorfos), vowed to carry her legacy forward, creating music that echoes her undying vision. Their 2017 release, "Athanati (Immortal)", was a monumental tribute, and now, LLOTH is poised to unleash their most powerful opus yet.

"Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions)" is a triumph of uncompromising sonic devastation. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at the acclaimed Pentagram Studio under the masterful hand of George Emmanuel (Lucifer's Child, ex-Rotting Christ), the album delivers a bludgeoning storm of relentless riffs, thunderous percussion, and soul-searing vocals. Accompanied by the darkly evocative, hand-painted artwork of Mars Triumph, the album takes listeners on a visceral journey through themes of ancient battles, Hellenic pride, and eternal resistance—a testament to LLOTH's roots in blackened chaos and profound emotional depth.

Theogonia Records is thrilled to announce the signing of DAMON SYSTEMA, the latest powerhouse to emerge from Greece’s vibrant metal underground. With their highly anticipated debut album "Ate", DAMON SYSTEMA fuses mythological allegory, crushing riffs, and haunting melodies into a concept album that drags listeners deep into the shadows of human struggle and hubris.

Originally formed in 2008 by guitarist and producer Akis Pastras (of DEXTER WARD and NIGHTFALL fame), DAMON SYSTEMA began as an instrumental project. However, the band was set aside in 2010 due to Pastras’ other musical commitments. The dormant beast was reawakened during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic, when Akis unearthed old ideas and crafted a bold new narrative appropriate for the modern age.

In "Ate", DAMON SYSTEMA explores the ancient Greek cycle of Hybris, Ate, Nemesis, and Tisis—a timeless allegory for arrogance, calamity, divine retribution, and punishment. At its core stands Ate (Ancient Greek: Ἄτη), the goddess of ruin and madness, as a metaphor for humanity’s internal battles with self-destructive tendencies. While rooted in classical themes, the album is far from mere antiquity worship—it’s an unflinching, modern confrontation with the inner monster that drives us toward ruin.

Joining Pastras (guitars/bass) in this journey are an exceptional lineup of musicians:

Ruby Bouziotis (Solo Artist, ex-EVIL WITHIN, ex-VAULT OF ACANTHUS) on evocative vocals, channeling both beauty and despair.
Nick Vlachakis (SHATTERED HOPE, FÖHN, OCEAN OF GRIEF) whose commanding vocal presence intensifies the emotional weight of the album.
The Goat on drums, delivering thunderous, primal rhythms that echo the chaos of the narrative.
