Theogonia Records is proud to announce the signing of the progressive groove metal powerhouse ORIA from Thessaloniki, Greece. Known for their ferocious intensity, cinematic moments, and deeply introspective storytelling, ORIA is set to unleash their sophomore album, “This Future Wants Us Dead” on April 25, 2025. The album will be available worldwide in a stunning CD digipack and digital formats.

Set in a dystopian world teetering on the brink of collapse, "This Future Wants Us Dead" examines the ethical dilemmas of technological progress, environmental degradation, and social isolation. Yet, amidst its apocalyptic themes, the album offers a beacon of hope - a reminder of humanity's capacity for redemption and resilience. From crushing grooves to moments of delicate introspection, ORIA’s soundscape mirrors the tension and beauty of the narrative, delivering a listening experience as thought-provoking as it is visceral.

The album’s production is a testament to ORIA’s dedication to quality and vision, brought to life by an outstanding creative team. It was recorded by Nick Grey at Red House Music Studio in Thessaloniki, Greece, with meticulous drum editing handled by Defkalion Dimos. The mixing and mastering were crafted by Steve Lado at SL Studios in Athens, ensuring a sonic experience that is both crushingly heavy and stunningly precise. To complete the vision, the haunting cover artwork, and graphic editing were masterfully created by Nasia Stylidou, known as Decomposition, whose visual style perfectly encapsulates the album’s dystopian themes.

Theogonia Records is proud to announce the signing of one of Greece's most legendary and revered forces in black metal, LLOTH. Hailing from the rich, myth-laden soil of Hellenic metal, LLOTH's legacy is deeply etched into the black/death metal pantheon. Their upcoming second full-length album, "Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions)", will be released under the burning banner of Theogonia Records, summoning a new epoch of ferocity, grandeur, and reverence to the ancient spirit of black metal.

Founded in 1995 by the late and iconic Tristessa—a trailblazer in the Greek metal scene and founder of Astarte (the first ever all-female black metal band)—LLOTH rose as a beacon of unholy darkness and unyielding artistry. After transitioning into Astarte, LLOTH lay dormant for years, only to rise once more in 2013. Following Tristessa’s tragic passing, the remaining members, led by her husband Nicolas Maiis (Melanomorfos), vowed to carry her legacy forward, creating music that echoes her undying vision. Their 2017 release, "Athanati (Immortal)", was a monumental tribute, and now, LLOTH is poised to unleash their most powerful opus yet.

"Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions)" is a triumph of uncompromising sonic devastation. Recorded, mixed, and mastered at the acclaimed Pentagram Studio under the masterful hand of George Emmanuel (Lucifer's Child, ex-Rotting Christ), the album delivers a bludgeoning storm of relentless riffs, thunderous percussion, and soul-searing vocals. Accompanied by the darkly evocative, hand-painted artwork of Mars Triumph, the album takes listeners on a visceral journey through themes of ancient battles, Hellenic pride, and eternal resistance—a testament to LLOTH's roots in blackened chaos and profound emotional depth.
